TERMS & CONDITIONS

Before we send out out detailed T's and C's / Contract  we will have asked you to confirm:-

  •  a maximum number of guests on-site,

  • the number of bedrooms requested

  • any special requirements

  • any additional services requested

We hope you will have thoroughly quizzed us as to the suitability of the property for your guests and your event. Please bear in mind - for example- that the property has NO DISABLED ACCESS, and NO LIFT.

Furthermore we respectfully suggest it is unsuitable for unsupervised children  because of the opening windows at height, open ponds in the grounds and a solid stone staircase.

Groups including well behaved and well supervised children are welcome to discuss whether a booking would be safe, enjoyable and appropriate for their particular group. We would rather all members of the party were fully and honestly informed in advance,  made their own informed decision, and felt they could relax and enjoy their stay. Please raise all concerns and ask as many questions as you like prior to making a booking or signing the Contract

Upon your request, we send you detailed Terms and Conditions and a Contract Confirming the quoted price. At this point we "block" your requested dates as a "Provisional Booking"  for 7 days to allow you to review the T's & C's and consult with other members of your group. You can take as long as you like to review the detailed T's & C's /Contract and revert, but if another party requests  the same dates and you have not confirmed you wish to proceed we may release your provisional booking dates after the allowed 7 days.

To confirm your Booking we must receive a signed copy of the Contract returned to us (email scan is acceptable) along with a 25% non-refundable Booking Deposit.

Please note:

  • No confirmed Booking exists until we receive both the signed contract and the Booking deposit.

  • Payment of the remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival date.

  • There is an additional REFUNDABLE Security deposit (not less than 1000€) against any breakages and damages caused by you/your party, which you are fully and personally liable for under French Law. This Security deposit must be received by us before your arrival.

  • You must have Personal Liability Insurance to hire the Chateau. Please  check that your Travel Insurance includes Personal Liability insurance.
